Perhaps upgrade to a current ReaR version helps
also in your case because in newer ReaR an issue
about setting a UUID on XFS with CRC enabled

was fixed via

see in particular the actual fix
https://github.com/rear/rear/pull/1067/files
which is about avoiding 'xfs_admin -U $uuid'
if 'mkfs.xfs -f -m uuid=$uuid' works.

Cf. https://github.com/rear/rear/issues/890
which was the same kind of issue for ext* filesystems.
