Running rear-1.17.2-5.el7.x86_64 on RHEL7.2.
Recently saw a restore hang and had missed the error duing backup ...
2017-03-21 12:14:07.288509428 Including output/PXE/default/80_copy_to_tftp.sh
'/boot/vmlinuz-3.10.0-327.36.1.el7.x86_64' -> '/var/lib/rear/output/ead7002head7002h.kernel'
'/tmp/rear.X7Aaxvg2Eawfd2X/tmp/initrd.cgz' -> '/var/lib/rear/output/ead7002head7002h.initrd.cgz'
cp: error writing '/var/lib/rear/output/ead7002head7002h.initrd.cgz': No space left on device
cp: failed to extend '/var/lib/rear/output/ead7002head7002h.initrd.cgz': No space left on device
/usr/share/rear/output/PXE/default/80_copy_to_tftp.sh: line 32: echo: write error: No space left on device
2017-03-21 12:14:07.735755780 Copied kernel+initrd (137M) to /var/lib/rear/output
Apparently there's lots of left over junk in "/var/lib/rear/output" (including several kernels and ramdisks) and in my case not excluded and propagating to each subsequent backup.
