I just checked and nobody umask is 022 on NFS server.
So I am not sure how the rear is creating files with 600 permission and nobody.

Subject: Backup files is being created with 600 permission
I just did my first backup using Rear and noticed that files on NFS mount being created as nobody and 600 permission.due to permission the recover failed and I had to change the permission to 644.
where should I change the permission ?
It is not umask problem because I did mount the same directory manually and files being created with 644 permission.
