Hi,

I am new to rear and I have just installed rear-1.14-12.git201305071407.el5 rpm file on a Rhel5 system and also
rear-1.14-12.git201305071407.el6.noarch rpm file on a Rhel6 system.

On both systems, running "rear mkrescue", the ISO image is being created but afterwards rear stops with the following error:

ERROR: Failed to find initrd.cgz, updating GRUB failed.

The initrd.cgz can be found in the iso-image but nowhere else in the filesystem.

Any ideas?

Best regards
Tim
