This seems to be a very long list :-)
I think first of all I should learn more about rear as I'm using it the
first time. It doesn't make sence to maintain a deb package without
having a basic understanding how the solution works. And yes, I have
some experience in building Debian packages. I'll come back in a few
days after setting up a first rear-based recovery solution. What's the
current state of deb-rear, is it already part of Debian / Ubuntu / Mint
package repositories (I couldn't find it in the Ubuntu Lucid reps)?
