Many thanks for your valuable bug report regrarding this issue
where in particular

shows, that it is an issue in the kernel and happens only
with kernel 3.1 that is used in openSUSE 12.1.

The problem appears to come from linux-3.1 reporting a disk-usage
of 0 for some files on btrfs and tar relying on this.


There is no need to change ReaR to make it work with btrfs
and it appears to be already fixed in the upstream kernel 3.2.
